Mamou - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 2, 2017 for Mrs. Lou Hoffpauir at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou. Burial will follow at the New St. Ann's Mausoleum.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Mamou from 9:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 1, 2017. It will reopen at 8:00 until time of service on Monday, January 2, 2017. A rosary will prayed by Deacon Chuck Ortego at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Mrs. Lou, age 76 and a resident of Mamou, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Lou loved to camp and she took great pride in her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Lou will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Mitch Arnaud and Tony Hoffpauir; daughter, Mandy Hoffpauir; sister, Marilyn Fontenot; grandchildren, Dustin Arnaud, Justin Arnaud, Brandon Soileau and Grant Vidrine; and great-grandchildren, Ava Arnaud, Addison Arnaud, Liberty Arnaud, Landon Arnaud and Addison Vidrine.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Dennis Hoffpauir; and parents, Boston and Aleezia Granger Fontenot.
