Mamou- Funeral services for Mr. Lennis Guillory were held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 13, 2006 at Sty. Anns Catholic Church. Burial followed in the B. J. Fontenot Cemetery in Ville Platte, La with Fr. Bob Courville officiating.

Mr. Guillory, age 76, a resident of Vidrine, La died on Saturday, August 12, 2006, at Ville Platte Medical Center following a short illness. He was retired farmer.

The visitation was held on Saturday, August 12, 2006, from 3:00 P.M. untl 10:00 p.m.. and again on Sunday, August 13, 2006, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary was recited on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 6:00 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy F. Guillory of Vidrine, La; one son, Jimmie Guillory and wife, Debbie, of Vidrine, La; one daughter, Evelyn G. Ardoin and husband, Steven, of Vidrine, La; one sister, Belle Ellis of Ville Platte, La; four grandchildren, Josh,and Sonja Ardoin and Tyler and Morgan Guillory.
