aligncenter Lee Bell Chapman Bordelon, left her family and friends on earth Sunday, November 15, 2009 to join her heavenly father and loved ones in the peace of eternity. Her 95 years were spent knowing and loving all of those left behind. While healthy, she was known as an accomplished seamstress making everything from Barbie doll cloths to winter coats. Her family always rushed to claim the last bite of her famous banana pudding an cakes.Her friends enjoyed her companionship in countless card games an rosaries prayed aloud. She loved helping others through volunteer work while she could. She molded for us all an example of the indest love, trust, loyalty and the strongest grace and dignity when adversity loomed. She will be remembered with love an admiration.

aligncenterShe is survived by four grandchildren, Robert Paul Bordelon, of Lafayette, La, Patsy B. Lockett of Doha, Qatar, Monica B. Mercer of College Station, Tx.

aligncenterCary Wyble of Tx; One daughter in-law Rita Grace Bordelon, of Houston, Tx. four great-grandchildren, Dylan Lockett, Wesley Cagle, Samuel Lockett, and Jackson Mercer; two great-great grandchildren Logan Lockett and Jet Lockett; She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Bordelon and her two children, Harry Bordelon, Jr. and Connie Bordelon Wyble.

aligncenterThe family requests that visitation take place on Monday, November 16, 2009 from 5:00pm until 10:00 pm and again on Tuesday from 8:00am until time of services.
