MAMOU-Chapel Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Ardoin Funeral Home in Mamou for Lawrence G. Granger, 75, who passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Savoy Care Center , at 12:45 a.m. Burial will follow in the Reeds Cemetery with Pastor Woody Gunnels officiating.

Lawrence is survived by;his wife, Elwin B. Granger of Mamou; one son, Donald Granger and wife Angie of Washington, La; four step-sons, Joseph Rider and wife, Cindy, Brent Rider and wife, Stephanie both of Reddell, David Rider and wife Lori, and Ricky Chapman both of Mamou; two step-daughters, Vicky Hundley and husband, Mark of Lanse Meg, and Connie Bondick of Oakland Ca; one brother, Ernest Granger of Lafayette, and one sister, Betty Manuel of New Orleans; nineteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Relise and Dorzina Granger , one sister, Hazel LaComb and one grand-son, Sammy Rider.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou from 12:00 pm 9:00 pm . The Funeral Home will reopen on Thursday at 8am until time of services.
