Laura Jane Fruge

MAMOU –Services will be held at a 2:00 PM Graveside Service at First Baptist Cemetery in Mamou on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 for Laura Jane Manuel Fruge’, 72, who passed away peacefully on Monday, January 11, 2021 at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA.

Laura Jane is survived by her children, Gary Steven Fruge and wife, Martha of Mamou, Gwendolyn LaFleur of Mamou, John F. Fruge and wife, Glenda of Pollock, and Samantha Guillory and husband, David of Mamou; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Farrel Manuel and wife, Linda of Alexandria, Theresa Vidrine and husband, Dalvis of Chicot; and Faye Durgan of Mamou.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Weldon T. Fruge’ Dupre; her parents, Eweb Manuel and Rose Manuel; sister, Gloria Dale Manuel; and grandson, Brandon.
