MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Laura Washington, 60, announces her passing on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 07, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou with burial following in the Reed Cemetery with Pastor Allen Ben officiating.
Laura will be greatly missed by her mother, Gloria Charles of Huntsville AL six brothers, Emmanuel Richard, Kenneth Richard, Cedric Gallow, Elliot Thomas, Alvin Thomas and Rufus Searile two sisters, Debra Richard and Gwendolyn Spears.
She is preceded in death by her father, Edwin Richard and one sister, Rita Richard Stephens.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, August 07, 2013 from 10:00 AM until time of Services.
