MAMOU- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Laura S. Vizina,83, announces her passing on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 7:05 A.M. at Savoy Care Center in Mamou. Chapel Services will be held at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. Entombment will follow in the New St. Ann's Mausoleum with Father Thainese Officiating.
Laura is survived by one son, Richard "Ricky" Vizina and wife, Barbara of Covington; one sister, Ethel Courville of Carencro and her caregiver, Sue Vasseur of Mamou; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She will now reunite in Heaven with her husband, Pershing Vizina, her parents, Archille Soileau and Maya McCauley Soileau, one son, Raymond Vizina and one brother, Wade Soileau.
They surely await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 2:30 P.M.on Friday.
