MAMOUThe family of Julius Jay Granger announce his passing on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at his residence. He was 78 years old. Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 pm with pastor Roger Whittington officiating.

Jay a retired pipe fitter will be sadly missed but joyfully remembered by his two sons, Kenneth Granger and wife Alicia of Sulphur and David Granger and wife Shannon of Ragley one brother, Roderick Granger and wife Marie of Ville Platte five grandchildren, Rodney Shane Granger and wife Monica of Lake Charles, Timothy Granger and wife Hannah of Sulphur, Kristofer, Khourey and Kaden Paul Granger all of Ragley four greatgrandchildren, Breana Granger and Michael Blaze Granger both of Moss Bluff, Trulen Granger and Shaylyn Granger both of Lake Charles and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adellus and Anna Fontenot Granger, one son, Michael Ricky Granger and one grandson Michael Ricky Granger, Jr. one brother, Earl Granger.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Friday,August 10, 2012 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm.

The family would like to say thank you to those who provided Jay with his daily needs and medical Care, Lacey Murphy and Derrick Latiolais, Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care of Mamou, Nicole, Rose, Joan, Lisa, Regina, Sherry, Lila and Eula.
