Juanita Aucoin

MAMOU – Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou on Saturday, October 31, 2020, for Juanita Mae Aucoin, 86, who passed away peacefully on October 27, 2020 in Pine Prairie, LA surrounded by her loving family.

Father Kenneth Mayne, pastor of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, will conduct funeral services.

Inurnment will take place in New St. Ann’s Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela Guillory and husband, Marc of Pine Prairie; two sons, Marcus Aucoin and wife, Anne of Beaver Creek and Sean Aucoin and wife, Misti of Cypress Creek; eight grandchildren, Justin Guillory, Jennifer Wisener, Lindsay Aucoin, Lesley Aucoin, Morgan Aucoin, Lauryn McGee, Kyle McGee, and Bret McGee; and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Lela Landreneau McCauley; her husband, Lionel J. Aucoin; grandson, Jordan Aucoin; sister, Jesslyn Guillory and infant brother, James Vernon McCauley.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  A rosary will be recited by Deacon Chuck Ortego at 6:00 PM on Friday. Visitation will resume on Saurday, October 31, 2020 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
