MAMOU-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 25, 2009 at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou, La, for Mrs. Josephine Virgie Fontenot, 94 who passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Savoy Care Center. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Mausoleum with Father Austin Leger officiating.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children,grandchildren and great-grandchildren; . Mrs. Fontenot is survived by her two sons Glin Fontenot , of Mamou, La, Norris Fontenot and wife Phoebe of Mamou, La; three grandchildren, Catherine Fontenot, Lucius and Ashley Fontenot; She was preceded in death by, her husband, Levie Fontenot; one grandson, Stephen Fontenot and one daughter-in-law, Margaret Fontenot;

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Sunday, May 24, 2009 ,9:00 am until 10:00 pm The Church will reopen at 8:00 am on Monday until time of services at 10:00 am.

A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, at 7:00 pm.
