Joseph Soileau

MAMOU – Joseph Tony Soileau, 64, passed away in Mamou, LA on Sunday, March 29, 2020.

Joseph Tony Soileau was born on November 22, 1955 in Mamou, LA to Durphy Soileau and Hattie Dupre Soileau.  Tony was a resident of Westlake, LA. He enjoyed playing music, especially the drums and accordion.  Tony was very strong in his Catholic faith.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his brothers, Dan Rozas of Lake Charles and Keith Soileau and wife Katie of Lake Charles; sisters, Bonnie Hicks and husband Travis of Leesville and Connie Soileau Manuel and husband Charles of Ville Platte; and his companion, Tina Lafleur of Mamou.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Durphy Soileau and Hattie Dupre Soileau; brother, Johnny Rozas, and sister, Jackie Rozas.

Inurnment will take place at a later date in New St. Ann’s Cemetery.
