Joseph Kent Landreneau

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Joseph Kent "Boudin” Landreneau, 65, who was born on December 11, 1959 and departed from this world on Sunday, May 25, 2025, in his beloved hometown of Mamou, Louisiana.

Joseph is survived by his daughter, Alicia Landreneau her fiancée Jonathan Rivet, his grandchildren Kinsley Garrison, Colton Rivet, Kira Rivet, and Trevor Rivet, his brother Keith Landreneau his wife Sheryl Landreneau, nieces Alexis Landreneau and Tiffani Guillory, nephew Brennon Guillory, great niece Ivy Sylvester and great nephew Canen Willis.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Joseph Andrew; parents, James Ronald Landreneau and Mary Jane Richard Landreneau; sister, Mary Annette Fontenot; and great niece Avery Landreneau. Though they are no longer with us, their presence will remain a guiding light for Joseph's family, providing comfort in knowing they are reunited.

As we bid farewell to Joseph Kent “Boudin” Landreneau, we remember a kindhearted man who was always willing to help anyone. He loved to cook, drink a cold beer and have a good time with his family and friends.

Joseph's Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou. A Memorial Service will commence at 9:00 AM, with heartfelt remembrances leading up to its conclusion at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the life of a wonderful man whose legacy will surely live on through the lives he touched.
