Mamou - A Memorial Service will be held for Joseph D. Fontenot at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2016, in the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou.
Mr. Fontenot, age 92, a resident of Mamou, LA, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016.
He is survived by his daughters, Vicki Van Wick and her husband, Michelle Fontenot and Susan Fontenot and her husband; son, Michael Fontenot; grandchildren, Kathryn, Korey, Simone, Tabitha, Sydney, Betsy, Trent, Tobi, Heather, Malcolm, Ana, Destiny, Courtney, Jesse, Peach and Katelyn; great-grandchildren, Chase, Ashton, Victoria, Kreede, Mason, Natalie, Julian, Ava, Shelbi, Cassidy, Riley, Wesley, Ivy, Jackson, Whittney, Alyssa, Raigan and Anthony : sister, Leonie Reed.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 20 years, Ann Fontenot; parents, Karel and Camille Seiley Fontenot; first wife, Nancy; brother, Michael "Co" Fontenot; sisters, Jessie Fontenot, Clara Conner and Verlie Rougeau.
