MAMOU-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm Friday, March 27, 2009 at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou for John Earl PAL Verrette, who passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Savoy Care Center . Rite of Committal will follow in the Old St. Anns Cemetery Father Bryce Sibley Celebrant.

A loving brother and uncle, Pal is survived by his three brothers, LD Verrette and wife, Loretta of Mamou, La, Harold Verrette and wife, Shirley of Lake Charles, La, and Burke Verrette and his wife, Dean of Westlake, La; two sisters, Amedine Fontenot of Sulphur, La and Delores Matt of Mamou, La.

He was preceded in death by his parents,Valcour and Fannie Verrette; one brother, Roy Verrette.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Friday, March 27, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of Services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm Thursday evening.
