MAMOU The family of John Brent Granger, announce his passing on Thursday, September 6, 2012. He was 60 years old. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Interment will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon Celebrant.
Brent will be sadly missed but joyfully remembered by his wife of 32 years, Edie Faye Reed Granger of Reddell his two daughters, Angela Ducote and husband Simon and Melissa Holford and husband, Doug all of Reddell one sister, Deanna Rawling and husband Jerry , of Phoenix Az six grandchildren, Amber Ducote, Heidi Ducote, Danielle Wilson and husband Chad, Zachary Brignac,Tyler Brignac, and Kristy Deculus five great grandchildren, Nicholas Cormier, Brooklynn Shae Wilson, Raynie Allen, Kolby Allen and Noah Deculus. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Sylvia Granger.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Friday September 7, 2012, 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm. The Funeral home will reopen on Saturday at 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited on Friday,September 7, 2012 at 6:00 pm by Angie Granger.
