John Collins

Mamou- John T. Collins, Jr, 69 a native of Armstrong, Illinois and a resident of Mamou, La passed away on July 25, 2005 at 1:05 a.m. at his residence following a long illness.

Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Collins, of Mamou, La; one son, Ricky D. Collins, of Spring ,Texas; two daughters, Brenda Sollars, of Mamou, La, and Vicki L. Collins, of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Charles Collins, and Leonard Collins both of Lafayette In; three sisters, Ann Carley, of Monticello Illinois, Elsie Thompson, of Schertz, Texas, Ellen Mullins of St. Petersburg, Fl; two granddaughters, Tamera R. Rogers, and Emma Grace Collins; one grandson, Brendan Burkhalter; three great-grandsons, Andrew and Trevan Rogers, and Ethan Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas, and Laura Collins; two sisters, Mildred Downing and Louis Sabol.
