MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of, Jimmie Derral Marcantel 72 announces his passing on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 3:55 pm at his residence. Services will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Reeds Cemetery with Pastor David Plunkett officiating.
Jim will be greatly missed by his wife of 20 years, Joy Michelle Thomas Marcantel of Mamou his mother, Rayola Lou Marcantel of Mamou three children, Gregory Scott Marcantel , Andre Mayo Marcantel and wife, Lynette and Monica Marcantel all of Mamou two sisters, Glenda Reed of Baton Rouge and Phoebe Cormier and husband Paul of Mamou six grandchildren, Isaac and Jeremy Lafleur, Mariah Marcantel, Tanner, Hunter and Dustin Marcantel
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Evabe Marcantel and a nephew, Coby Cormier.
