Mamou It is with great sadness that the family of Jimmie Granger, 42, annouces his passing on Thursday, July 09, 2010 in Mamou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon officiating.

Jimmie will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Liz Granger of Mamou his father, Chester J. Granger of Mamou his son, Meggie John Granger of Mamou daughter, Mariah Nicole Marcantel of Mamou two brothers, Chester J. Granger, Jr. and wife, Monique, and Shane Granger and wife, Darlene, all of Mamou three sisters, Nedra Smith and husband, Nicky of Lafayette, Wendy Lafleur and husband, Ricky of Mamou, and Nannette Mouiller and husband, Kenneth of Mamou. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He now rest in Heaven with his beloved mother, Georgiana D. Granger.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Friday, July 09, 2010 from 9:00 am until time of Services. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 pm Friday evening.
