MAMOU ~ It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Nell LeBleu,50, announces her passing at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette on May 07, 2016 at 3:31 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 09, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou Rite of Committal will follow in the Pine Point Cemetery with Father Kaspar as Celebrant.
A wonderful wife, mother, daughter ,sister, grandmother, aunt and friend Nell will be greatly missed by her husband of 32 years, Anthony Ray LeBleu of Point Blue; two daughters, Ashley Phillips and husband Doug of Pine Prairie and Kaylee Soileau and husband, Zack of Bayou Chicot; one son, Jake LeBleu of Point Blue; her father, Nolan Gotreaux of Baton Rouge; one brother, Anthony Gotreaux of Mamou and three sisters, Charlotte, Victoria and Bridgette Gotreaux all of Mamou; five grandchildren, Payton and Ashton Janise, Haedyn and Roman Phillips and Bailie Fontenot; nieces and nephews, Dwana, Derrick, Reagan, Jordan, Erica, Kinsey, Elizabeth, Dylan, Madison, Tristin, Matthew and Fatima. Honoring Nell the Pall Bearers will be Jake, Jeremy, Jordan, Curtis, Derrick, Erica and Tony.
Nell will now reunite in Heaven with her mother, Mickey Gotreaux, one sister, Chasity Gotreaux, her maternal grandparents, Lillian Meche and Clarence "Cam" Lavergne. They surely await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the LeBleu family visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Sunday, May 08, 2016 from 1:00 pm until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Sunday.
