MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of, James Ray Lafleur, 49 announces his passing on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 4:00 pm at the Heart Hospital in Lafayette. Chapel services will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Cemetery with Brother Ervin Goodman officiating.
James will be greatly missed by his wife, Jackie L. Lafleur of Mamou his father, Robert Lafleur of Basile one son, Austin Gene Connley of Mamou one daughter, Buffy Lynn Fontenot and husband Perry James Guillory of Reddell one brother, Donald Lafleur and wife Tammy of Ville Platte two grandchildren, Destani Faye Guillory and Randall James Guillory both of Reddell one Godchild, Terri Lynn Granger. He was preceded in by his mother Mary Rose Lafleur and one sister, Elizabeth Gayle Lafleur.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 5:00 pm until time of services on Sunday.
