Jacqueline Lafleur Pousson

A mass of Christian burial will be held for Jacqueline Pousson, 83,  at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 3:00 PM.  Burial will follow in the New St. Ann Cemetery.

Jacqueline Pousson was born on December 11, 1939, to Linton Lafleur and Cecilia Ardoin Lafleur in Mamou, Louisiana.  Jacqueline passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023, in Mamou, Louisiana at the age of 83.  She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Gordon Johnson and Chad Johnson of Mamou; 3 grandchildren: Kylie Johnson Doucet and husband, Trevor, of Eunice, Leslie Johnson Picou and husband, Will, of Eunice, and Taylor Johnson and wife, Tiffany, of Basile; 5 great-grandchildren: Valerie, Caroline, Natalie, Wes, and Slade; her brother, Wayne Lafleur and his wife, Delores, of Carencro.

Jacqueline now joins in heaven her parents, Linton Lafleur and Cecilia Ardoin Lafleur, and her husband, Lubert C. “Joe” Pousson.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, beginning at 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM, at which time a rosary will be recited.
