MAMOU - Isaac Ardoin, Jr., a loving father, brother, and grandfather left this world on Friday, November 24, 2017. Isaac would always use the phrase "Oh, just TRY it!" and he lived out that saying during his 64 years. He was an artist who loved sculpturing, drawing with pencils, photography, and woodworking in his shop. He also enjoyed learning new things while watching programs on the History Channel and the Coin Channel. Isaac proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and he still enjoyed shooting firearms.

Isaac's family was his world and his departure will greatly affect theirs. Left behind to cherish his many memories are his daughter, Katie Ardoin of Mamou, sister Berdine Fontenot of Ville Platte, and his grandchildren Bella and Finnley Ardoin. He will be greatly missed by all those that knew him.

He now rests with his parents Isaac, Sr. and Cora V. Ardoin and his brother Mitch Ardoin.

A celebration of his life will take place at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Saturday, November 25 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Sunday, November 26 from 9:00 AM until time of service. Deacon Gary Gaudin will lead a rosary Saturday evening at 5:30 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the New St. Ann's Cemetery.
