MAMOUIt is with immense sadness and heavy hearts that the family of, Hope Granger Cain, 39 announce her passing on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 9:38 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on, Friday, February 14, 2014 at 2:00 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery in Mamou. Father Jude Thierry, as Celebrant and Father Mark Melancon as CoCelebrant.
Hopie as everyone knew her will be missed. There will be a void in our small town of Mamou. Mother of the Herdsmen 3rd Platoon Attack Troop 161 Calvary
Hope was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend. She will be mourned by her husband of 12 years, George Cain of Mamou two wonderful children, Carli and William Cain both of Mamou and one sister, Angie Granger also of Mamou two godchildren, Reagan Douget of Mamou and Rudi Roo Harden of Houston, TX.
Hope will now reunite in Heaven with her parents, Percy and Tracy Granger her maternal grandparents, Hammy and Jimmy Lee Fontenot and her paternal grandparents, Curley and Rose Granger.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Thursday, January 13, 2014 from 2:00 pm until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm by Angie Granger Family and friends may view the online obituary and sign the guestbook at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com.
