MAMOUIt is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family of Helen T. Bogard announces her passing on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Savoy Medical Center, at the age of 72. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2011. Interment will follow in the New St. Ann Mausoleum with Father Chanh Nguyen officiating.
Helen, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend she will be sadly missed by her husband C.J. Bogard of Reddell three daughters, Michelle Deville and husband, Ricky, Sharon Guillory and husband, Kirt all of Vidine, Karen Bogard of Reddell one son, Jeff Bogard and wife, Heather of Reddell nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Helen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

At the request of the Bogard family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm. The Funeral Home will reopen on Thursday, March 31, 2011. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm on Wednesday evening by Father Chanh Nguyen..
