MAMOU-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou for Harold Dupre,76 who passed away on Friday, June 19, 2009 at Savoy Care Center, in Mamou. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Jude Thierry officiating.

A resident of Mamou,Harold, was a retired Operator with Chevron.He was a Veteran of the Korean war. He is survived by one son, John L Dupre and wife Gwen, of Denver Co; one daughter, Mrs. Gary Debbie Dupre Beever, of Port Arthur, Tx; one brother, Rawlin Dupre and wife Cindy , of Slidell, la; and his former wife, Evelyn Dupre.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurent and Bessie Dupre; one daughter, Becky Dupre and his first wife and mother to his children, June Myers Dupre.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou from 9:00 am 11:00 am Mr. Dupre was very active int the American Lagion Post 123 and the VFW in Mamou.
