MAMOU-Funeral Services will be held at a 12:30 PM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, for Gwendalyn Marie Chautin, 67, who passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 in Baton Rouge, LA surrounded by her loved ones.

Father Billy Massie, Pastor of St. Ann's Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and will conduct all funeral services.

Burial will take place in Rougeau Cemetery.

Gwendalyn Marie Chautin was born in Morgan City, LA on July 30, 1951 to Aubrey Roy Ratcliff and Doris Mae Rock Ratcliff. Gwendalyn was full of life and very outgoing. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting and playing the piano and singing for her family. She loved being outdoors working in her flowerbeds and spending time on her patio. Gwendalyn will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Sean Joseph Chautin; two sons, John Kennon Landreneau and Tiffany of Ponchatoula, LA and Donovan Heath Landreneau and Felicity of Mamou; two step-sons, Brandon Sean Chautin and Joachim Hunter Chautin both of Lafayette; five grandchildren, Jay, Jessica, Mycah, Cale and Sophie; one brother, Dale "Red Bean" Ratcliff and wife Susan of Stephensville, LA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey Roy Ratcliff and Doris Mae Rock Ratcliff.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Mamou on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 6:00 PM Monday. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 9:00 AM until time of service.
