MAMOU It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Gregory Manuel II announces his passing on Friday, March 16, 2012 at L.S.U. Medical Center in Shreveport surrounded by his loved ones. He was 36. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 3:00 pm on Monday, March 19, 2012 at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon as Celebrant.
Greg worked for Edward Jones as a Financial Advisor and the love of his life was his Family , spending time with his children and devoting his energy to his Catholic Faith. He was always willing to help others. Greg leaves behind his Loving and devoted wife Nicki Manuel of Ville Platte three sons, Noah, Jake, and Cyrus Manuel all of Ville Platte Parents, Gregory and Joanah Manuel of Mamou four brothers, Lucas Manuel and wife Denae , Dustin Manuel and wife Candace all of Mamou, Dr. Rusty Manuel and wife Dr. Maghon of Eunice and Brook Ryan Manuel of Vidrine and a host of other family and friends. Greg was preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents, Voohries and Gloria Fontenot and his Paternal grandparents, Horace and Lillie Manuel.
. At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Sunday, March 18, 2012 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm. the Funeral Home will reopen at 8:00 am on Monday, March 19, 2012 until time of services.
