MAMOU Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 for George Lebeau, 90, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Mr. Lebeau died at the Jefferson Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Beaumont, TX. on November 30, 2014 at 9:45 p.m. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery in Mamou with Father Richard Broussard Celebrant.
George was a veteran with the Merchant Marines traveling around the world. He was self employed owning and operating LeBeau Construction Co. He loved to travel in their RV with his wife, Camay.
He is survived by one son, Dennis Ray LeBeau of Monroe, LA one Stepdaughter, Pris LeJeune and husband, Bob of Beaumont, TX and one Stepdaughterinlaw, Rose Fontenot of Lafayettefour grandchildren, Connie Dien and husband, Gary, Dawn Beaver and husband, Jeff, Babette Lejeune and Marge LeBeau. Numerous great and greatgreat grandchildren.
Mr. LeBeau was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Camay LeBeau, his parents, Dennis and Eliska Arceneaux LeBeau, twostepsons, Sherrell Fontenot and Michael Keith Fontenot,four brothers, Dave, Willie, Oscar and Hiram LeBeau , six sisters, Virginia Thomasie, Theresa Leblanc,Mae Parker, Elizabeth Melancon, Leona Ficklin and Marie Fontenot and one granddaughter, Leah Lejeune. At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at12:45 p.m. Wednesday Afternoon.
