Mamou It is with great sadness that the family of Garrett Deshotels announces his passing on Saturday, July 7, 2012 . Funeral Services will be held Tuesday July 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Mamou. Burial will follow in the Courville Cemetery in Eunice with Pastor Ervin Goodman officiating.
A loving, son, brother, grandson, and friend, Garrett will be lovingly remembered by his mother Desa Clay Mitchell of Lafayette his Maternal grandmother, Virginia Ledoux Clay of Eunice, and his paternal grandmother, Diane Deshotels of Mamou three sisters, Katelyn Deshotels of Mamou, Orrie Clay and Chloe Mitchell both of Lafayette.
He is preceded in death by his father, Craig Deshotels , his Maternal grandfather, Robert A. Clay and his paternal grandfather, Elward Deshotels. The family request that visiting hours be observed Monday, July 9, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
