Mamou It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn Marks Veillon, 87 announces her passing on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Savoy Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 10,2012 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Fr. Mark Melancon Celebrant.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother and friend, Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her, husband of 66 years, Emile Veillon of Vidrine six daughters, Mary V. Meyers of Vidrine, Elaine Veillon of Baton Rouge, Jeanette Whitacre and husband, Ernest of Big cane, La, Novella V. Gill and husband, John of Springfield, Tenn. Verna V. Aucoin of Vidrine, Diana V. Fontenot and husband Darren of Reddell. sixteen grandchildren and twentytwo greatgrandchildren. She now rests in heaven with her beloved parents, Claudius and Alice Marks and one soninlaw, Ricky Aucoin.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Sunday December 9, 2012 from 9:00 am. until time of services.. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening. Family and friends may go to the guestbook or send condolences online at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com
