MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Evella Papillion, age 56 announces her passing on Sunday, January 08, 2012 at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou, at 6:45 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Interment will follow in the Ceaser Cemetery in Mamou with Father Mark Melancon Celebrant.

Evella is survived by her husband, Thomas Papillion of Mamou her mother, Margie Allen of Mamou one brother, Michael Allen and his wife, Clara of Mamou two sisters, Linda Allen Boseman nd husband, Raymond of New Orleans, and Melissa Allen Porter and husband, Byron of Little Rock Arkansas . She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by the her father, Linton Allen two brothers, Marshall and Lennie Allen.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and again on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 8:00 am until time of Services.
