Mamou-It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Euna Deshotel, 72, announces her passing on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 12:10 am at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. Chapel services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Burial will follow in the Church of Christ Cemetery.
Euna will be greatly missed by her three sons, Andre Deshotel and wife, Melissa of Church Point, Miguel Deshotel and wife Eleanor of Mamou and Joshua Deshotel and wife, Loni of Pine Prairie, and two daughters, Robin Guillory of Mamou and Naomi Deshotel Jeansonne and husband, Brian of Eunice; one sister, Verna Lemoine of Natchitoches; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She will now reunite in Heaven with her parents, Clifton and Marie Fontenot Deshotel and one daughter, Nicole Deshotel. They surely await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until ten and again on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
