Ethel Daire

MAMOU-Funeral Services will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Monday, October 7, 2019, for Ethel Daire, 82, who passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones.

Ethel Daire was born in Faubourg, LA on May 20, 1937 to her parents Joseph Everton Richard, Sr. and Odette McDaniel Richard.  Ethel was a loving mother and wife.  She served her community as a member of the Homemakers Club, American Legion Post #123, and as a business owner in Mamou.  She touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bernard P. Daire; son, Mitchel Daire and wife Lisa; daughter, Arleen Daire; one brother; one sister; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Everton Richard, Sr. and Odette McDaniel Richard; one brother; two sisters; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM.  A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Monday.
