Emma Lou was a homemaker and dedicated herself to the love and care of her family, and enjoyed cooking and being with the family. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, she leaves behind to cherish her memory of her three sons, John Cha Cha Fontenot, Eddie ToTo Fontenot and Michael Fontenot and wife, Valerie all of Mamou four grandchildren, Julia Johnson and husband Randy, John Fontenot II and wife, Ashley, Carolyn Breaux and husband Glenn, and Lacie Fontenot five great grandchildren, Courtney and Aaron Johnson, Tori Breaux, Remy and Cooper Fontenot. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jeffery Fontenot, her parents Ralph and Hattie Guillory, and one daughter in law, Carole Fontenot.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Friday, April 26, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and again on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 7:00 am until time of Services. A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 pm on Friday evening.
