Ville PlatteIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announce the passing of their beloved, father , grandfather, greatgrandfather, and greatgreatgrandfather, Elbea Vidrine, on November 12, 2010, in the Evangeline Extended Care Hospital in Mamou at the age of 95. Services will be held at Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte, La on Saturday, at 1:00 PM with Father Richard Vidrine Officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Peters Cemetery in Grand Prairie. He leaves behind a loving and grateful family including his, one son, James R. Vidrine and wife, Louise of Ville Platte one daughter, Paranell Lafleur and husband, T J of Ville Platte 6 grandchildren, 10 greatgrandchildren and 4 greatgreatgrandchildren.
Visiting hours will begin on Friday at 5:00 P.M. until 8 P.M. and will resume on Saturday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M.on Friday Evening Family and Friends may view the obituary and sign the guestbook online at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com.
