Mamou It is with great sadness that the family of Edward Eddie Fontenot, 61, announces his passing on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Savoy Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the New Reeds. Cemetery with Fr. Jude Thierry Celebrant. Eddie is survived by wife, Judy Vidrine Fontenot of Mamou two daughters, Katina Marie Fontenot and Hannah Denise Walker both of Kinder three sisters, Merlin Firman, Nerlin Daniels both of Mamou, and Rose Burgess of Washington State seven grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, , LeLa Fuselier, Leo Fontenot one son, James Christopher West, three brothers, Emery Fontenot, Jimmy Morien and Ferral Bertrand one grandchild, Cloe Renee Bamburg.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 1:00p.m. until time of services on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening.
