Mamou A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Anns Catholic Church on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 1:00 PM for Dorothy Marcantel, 67. with Father Mark Melancon Celebrant.
Mrs. Marcantel a resident of Spring Prairie, is survived by her husband of 51 years, Herschel Glenn Marcantel, Sr. of Spring Prairie three sons, Glenn Marcantel and wife, Cindy of Grand Coteau, Donald Marcantel, and wife, Anne of Belair Cove, and Sean Marcantel of Baton Rouge two daughters, Angela Soileau and husband, Barry of Spring Prairie and Amanda Meche and husband, Steven of Opelousas one sister, Anita Seiley of New Orleans nineteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren . Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Ivy and Melton Molitor, one sister, Callie Molitor and three brothers, J.E., Randy and Clancy Molitor
At the request of the family, visitation will be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Friday, December 09, 2011 from 11:00 am until 10:00 PM. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday evening.
