MAMOU It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Landreneau , announces her passing on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on , Friday, August 21 , 2009 at 2:00 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Fr. Jude Thierry Celebrant.

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Dorothy will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Lester Lus Landreneau of Mamou; one son, Robert Bobby Landreneau and wife, Paula of Ville Platte, ; three daughters, Janice JAN Prestridge and husband Thomas, of Baton Rouge, Tamara Landreneau, of

Talbot Tenn. And Melissa Landreneau of Port Allen; one brother J.C. Lebleu, of Chataignier and one sister Ethel Pierrottie, of Mamou; six grandchildren, Olivia Ardoin, Travis Landreneau, Matthew Prestridge Allison Cutrer, Jessica Prestridge, and Ashley Love; five great-grandchildren, Dawson Ardoin, Kennedy Ardoin, Delanie Prestridge, Reese Prestridge and Nicholas Achee. .

Family request that visiting hours be observed August 20, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Friday, August 21, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening.

Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou is in charge of arrangements.
