MAMOU It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of Dickie Fontenot on April 26, 2013 at his residence, at the age of 57. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at St. Anns Catholic Church Burial will follow at the Old St. Anns Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon officiating.
He leaves behind a loving and grateful family including his wife, Mary Ann Miller Fontenot of Mamou mother, Janella Manuel Thibodeaux and husband Roderick of Pine Prairie one daughter, Shawna Thomas and husband Mike of Mamou, one son, Kevin Fontenot of Mamou one brother, David Thibodeaux and wife Liz of The Woodlands, Tx four sisters, Charmaine Fontenot of Lafayette, Charlene Fontenot of Lafayette, Annette Thibodeaux Manuel and husband James of Mamou and Michelle Thrasher and husband Quint of Bayou Chicot four grandchildren, Alexis, Jada, Aaliyah, and Cane and two godchildren, Kenny Godeaux of Church Point and David Luke Thibodeaux of The Woodlands, Tx.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Monday, April 26, 2013 from 3:00 pm until time of Services.
