MAMOUA Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014 for David Kent Glaze at St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. David died on Friday, September 5, 2014. Inurnment will follow in the St. Peters Catholic Cemetery. A reception will follow the Inurnment at the Church of Christ Fellowship Hall in Pine Prairie.

Mr. Glaze began his oilfield experience with The Analyst. For several years thereafter, he worked nationally and internationally for SperrySun Drilling Services as a Mud Logger and Directional Driller. He spent the next 27 years in the same line of work for Geolab. David grew up in Pine Prairie but made Texas his home for 20 years before returning home to Louisiana in June of last year.

He is survived by three sons, Edward E.J. Glaze of Pine Prairie, LA Jason Glaze and Tristan Glaze both of Eagle Lake, TX one daughter, HayLee Glaze of Eagle Lake, TX one brother, Jeffrey Glaze of Pineville, La and two sisters, Diana Glaze of Natchez, MS and Joan Vanicor of Lafayette, LA a nephew Joel Dupre and wife Dana of New Orleans, LA and a niece Heather Vanicor of Lafayette, LA four great nieces of Baton Rouge, La and New Orleans La his girlfriend, Donna Faye Fontenot of Ville Platte, LA.

David loved learning and sharing his knowledge with those around him. Seldom was a subject or creature, large or small about which he didnt know something. He loved photography and sharing photos with friends and family. He had a unique sense of humor and loved to make others laugh. David was a great dad filled with pride of his four children. He was a fun uncle, a lifetime friend, the best brother and loved by so many

David was preceded in death by his parents, Edward L. Glaze and Gloria Bushnell Glaze and one nephew, Jason Dupre.
