Darla is survived by her devoted father, David Manuel, and her loving sister, Jada Dyer Theriot. Together, they carry on her memory with deep affection and profound gratitude for all the moments they shared. Their bond, strengthened by love and understanding, will continue to flourish as they honor the beautiful soul of their beloved Darla.

She was preceded in death by her cherished mother, Jennifer Russell, whose love laid the foundation for the strong woman Darla became. The bond between mother and daughter was one of pure devotion, and now, the two are united once more in peace.

A visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on October 1, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, leading into a celebration of her life during the funeral service starting at 10:00 AM.
