MAMOU-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2015 for Dallas Chapman at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Ann's Mausoleum in Mamou with Fr. Mark Melancon Celebrant.
He is survived by one son, Dallas Wayne Chapman and wife, Barbara of Charlotte N.C.and one daughter, Peggy Ann Pringle and companion, Al`Lain of Austin , Tx; two grandchildren, Rachel Chapman of Los Angeles, CA and Blake Chapman of Charlotte S.C. one brother, Raphael Chapman of Morgan City.
Mr. Dallas was preceded in death by his wife, Lou Ella Fontenot Chapman, one son, Robert Chapman, his parents, Joseph and Agnes Guillory Chapman and a half-brother Walter Ardoin.
At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon.
