Crystal Renee Edmundson

Crystal Renee Landry Edmundson, age 52 of Mamou, Louisiana passed away unexpectedly on April 24, 2026. Crystal was born January 18, 1974 in Opelousas to Errol and Diana Landry. 

She was passionate about her family and enjoyed walking with her dogs. She enjoyed classic country and rock music that she listened to often, shopping at the thrift store, and taking photos. She was proud to be from South Louisiana and took part in many of the cultural events and traditions. 

Crystal was preceded in death by both of her parents, stepfather Daylon Sidwell, brother Errol Troy Landry, sister Celeste Landry, and nephew Corey Doucet. 

She is survived by her two daughters Nadine Faye Edmundson, of Cleveland, Ohio and Jaden Taylor Edmundson, of Marshall, Texas; her brothers, Dustin Sidwell and Shaun Bernard; beloved grandchildren Boone, Cooper, and Riff Edmundson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to thank Chief Charles Pat Hall and Tasha of the Mamou Police Department and the staff at Ardoin’s Funeral Home for their assistance and comfort during this difficult time.

 A private ceremony will be held in her memory.
