Conrad Bieber

MAMOU – Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Ville Platte on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, for Conrad Will Bieber, 78, who passed away peacefully on December 6, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

Conrad Will Bieber was born on January 15, 1942 in Eunice, LA to Edward and Elanora Hill Bieber.  Conrad was a graduate of Mamou High School.  After graduation he went on to attend LSU where he served as president of the Baptist Student Union and earned a degree in business in 1962.  Conrad was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served in Germany.  After serving his country, he came home and began his lifelong career as a rice farmer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Carmen Bieber; five sons, Bryan Bieber and wife, Regina of Mamou, Barry Bieber and wife, Micki of Prospect, Kevin Bieber and wife, Jessica of Moss Bluff, Graham Bieber and wife, Sarah of Washington, and Grayson Bieber and wife, Ashley of Crooked Creek; sixteen grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, Anne-Marie, Anika, Aaron, Jackson, Harrison, Caroline, William, Henry, Ellie, Jake, Mason, Avery, Elanora and Gus; and sister, Karen Bieber Guillory and husband, Cal of Mamou.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Elanora Hill Bieber; brother, Charles Edward Bieber; and infant sister, Elaine Bieber.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  Visitation will resume at First Baptist Church of Ville Platte on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 11:00 AM until time of service.

The Bieber family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hope Hospice, Right at Home, and his First Baptist Church Family.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Ville Platte Building Fund.
