Connie Hollier, who was born on Monday, January 29, 1962, in Mamou, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Lafayette, Louisiana at the age of 63. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 15, 2025 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou at 2:00 PM with Father Billy Massie officiating services.

A cherished member of her community, Connie's life was a testament of dedication and love, particularly for her family, who were always her first priority.

Connie started her career of serving the community at the family hamburger stand, Hollier King Freeze. Later she worked alongside her father and then her husband at Mamou Superette, where they built not just a business, but a legacy of teamwork and commitment to the community. Later in her career, Connie took on the role of a teller at Citizens Bank and became known for her friendly demeanor and attention to detail that left a lasting impression on customers.

Beyond her career, Connie embraced life with enthusiasm. She found joy in every adventure life had to offer, including fishing and camping, The beach held a special place in her heart, serving as her “happy place” where countless memories were created. Connie loved to cook her pork roast and a red gravy, which were frequently requested by her family.

Connie is survived by her husband of 46 years, Keith Hollier; two daughters, Dawn Babineaux (Anthony) and Tami Vidrine (Grant); five grandchildren, Kaylee and Evan Babineaux and Addison, Gavin, and Avery Vidrine; brother, Dean Fuselier (Debbie); and sister, Jan Garcille.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Edna Bertrand Fuselier; her son, Michael Hollier; and her brother in law, Roth Garcille.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be prayed Sunday evening.

Connie Hollier will be lovingly remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the incredible love she poured into her family. Her spirit and the many cherished memories she leaves behind will continue to inspire all who knew her.
