Mamou It is with great sadness that the family of Christopher Landreneau, Sr. 55 announces his passing on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at his residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the Manuel Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon as Celebrant.
A loving father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. Christopher leaves behind his wife of 17 years Glenda Aymond Landreneau of Mamou three sons, Christopher James Landreneau and Jordan Miller both of Mamou and Tim Gotro of Chicot three daughters, Shelly Miller of Mamou, Jessica Gotro of Eunice and Charice Gotro two brothers, C.J. Landreneau and wife, Sherry of Mamou, Turner Landreneau and wife, Elaine of Eunice two sisters, Emilie Fontenot of Ville Platte and Anna Smart of Lake Charles two grandchildren, Zackary Brett Manuel and Chaz Young He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Chris was an operator in the Oil and Gas Industry.
He now joins in Heaven: his beloved parents, Adam J. and Ethel Landreneau and one brother, Hoover Landreneau.They most certainly await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family visitation will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home of Mamou beginning Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM that evening and again Friday, July 12, 2013 from 8:00 AM until time of the service. A Rosary will be recited in his honor at 6:15 PM Thursday evening.
