MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family of Chester John Fuselier, 75 announce his passing on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 2:54 PM at Opelousas General Hospital in Opelousas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Chester Fuselier on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 1:00 PM. At St. Anns Catholic Church Rite of Committal will follow in the Reed Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon as Celebrant.
A loving father, brother, grandfather and friend, Chester leaves behind two daughters, Barbara Landreneau and husband, Leon of Vidrine and Kim Guillory and husband, Al Keith also of Vidrine and one son, Marc Fuselier and wife, Kristen of Walker one brother, Roderick Fuselier and wife, Cathey of Eunice and one sister, Brenda F. Guillory and husband, JO twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
He will now rest in Heaven with his , parents, Enais and Delia Fuselier, one son, Michael John Fuselier and one brother, Douglas Lee Fuselier they surely await his arrival with open arms.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited in his honor on Friday evening at 6:00 PM by Deacon Gene LeBouef the funeral home will reopen at 8:00 AM Saturday until time of services.
