MAMOU It is with great sadness that the family of Charles Ray Briley, 62, announces his passing on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at St. Agnes Nursing Home in Breaux Bridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Ann Cemetery with Fr. Mark Melancon Celebrant.
Charley was a Handyman to many people.
Charles, a loving brother and uncle leaves behind two sisters, Brenda Briley Fontenot of Breaux Bridge and Rita B. Buxton of Prairie Ronde, one niece, Dana Buxton Griggs and three nephews, Joshua, Brock and Hunter Fontenot. He now rest s in Heaven with his parents Earl and Lurley Briley.
At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 7:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m. Saturday by Father Mark Melancon.
