MAMOU - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Saturday, January 20, 2018, for Charleen G. Matt, 74, who passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Rapides Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones.

Funeral Services will be conduted by Wallace Bellard, Tate Ardoin, and Terry Lafleur. Marie Guillory will provide music for the service.

Burial will take place in Bieber Cemetery.

Charleen was the owner of Mom's Flea Market; where you could find anything and everything, to buy sell or trade. Charleen or "Mom" as everyone called her had an outgoing personality and was full of life. She loved her family with all her heart and soul.

She is survived by her son, Clem Matt; daughters, Lisa Bellard, Justine Daigle, Donna Matt, and Chasity Darbonne; brothers, Grady Fontenot and Benett Fontenot; sisters, Grace Soileau and Nina Fontenot; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Charleen is preceded in death by her husband, Eufal Wayne Matt; parents, Clemance and Mary Saucier Fontenot; son, Todd Matt; grandson, Caden Wayne Floyd; sisters, Patsy Ledoux, Fernella Fontenot and Ethel Young; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Morein Matt.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Mamou on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of service.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
