Mamou- Funeral services were held on Friday, Nov. 24, 2006 for Carrie Jordan, at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Mamou. Burial followed in the Resthaven Cemetery in Oakdale, La. Ms. Jordan a resident of Mamou, died on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006 at 6:10 A.M.,. at The Evangeline Extended Care Hospital in Mamou.

Ms. Carrie is survived by her husband, Daniel Rogers, of Mamou, La.; three sons Gerald Jordan and Curry Jordan, Jr. both of Jeanerette, La, and Bobby Jordan of Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Wanda Fuselier of Eunice, La; three brothers, Elvin Fontenot, Cleveland Batch Fontenot, both of Mamou,La and Daniel Fontenot of Oakdale, La; two sisters, Lovine Guillory of Crooked Creek, La and Sylvia totsie Fontenot of Mamou,La.; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren..
